In this fiscal year (2016-2017), Myanmar bean export was increased significantly than that of the same period last year, which was more than 1 million tons during the period from April 1 to the end of December, while the export in the same period last year was only 850000 tons. It is expected that, at the end of this fiscal year, the export will be more than 1.3 million tons, of which, pea and green bean market will be better, and export will be increased. According to the information, Myanmar beans are mainly exported to India, and a part of them are exported to China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and ASEAN countries. The green bean market demand is larger, and orders have been signed with Japan, Taiwan, China and EU in recent years.
