On March 13, 2007, members of Gulf Cooperation Council such as Oman, UAE, Kuwait, etc. released the notifications of G/TBT/N/KWT/350, G/TBT/N/ARE/354, G/TBT/N/ARE/355, G/TBT/N/QAT/466, G/TBT/N/BHR/468, G/TBT/N/BHR/469, G/TBT/N/KWT/351, G/TBT/N/OMN/291, G/TBT/N/OMN/292, G/TBT/N/QAT/467, G/TBT/N/SAU/970, G/TBT/N/SAU/971, G/TBT/N/YEM/70 and G/TBT/N/YEM/71 and issued the drafts such as the technical regulations on bread and nut products, etc. This technical regulation draft involves the technical requirements of the bread, applying to the bread made from the wheat flour and not applying to the bread for special nutrition purposes; it involves the general requirements of the nut as well as the technological requirements of the processing and various processing processes such as the peeling off, baking & pickling and smoking, etc. and stipulates the requirements of the package, transportation, storage and sales, etc.
