According to Vietnam Cashew Association, the Vietnam cashew export amount of the whole country in 2017 is expected to reach USD3,000,000,000 with the year-on-year growth as USD160, 000,000.

The statistical data of Vietnam Cashew Association indicates that, in 2016, the lightly-processed cashew kernel export volume reached 348,000 tons with the foreign exchange income as USD2,800,000,000 while the export amount of the highly-processed cashew kernel and cashew nut shell oil reached RMB200,000,000, accounting for 10% of the total cashew export amount.

In 2016, the processed output of Vietnam cashew set a new record, reaching 1,500,000 tons. In the meantime, the stable market and export price rise made the cashew export amount in 2016 has a 19.1% growth rate compared to 2015.

Since 2006, Vietnam has been the first largest cashew export country in the world, accounting for 28% of the processing volume of global cashew and 42% of the cashew kernel export volume. At present, America, Netherlands and China are still the largest import countries of Vietnam cashew.
