1. Delivery details of California pistachios in February

The accumulated shipment of California pistachios in February is 19926ton, increasing 159.9% than that in 2016.

However, in terms of years, the overall shipment of California pistachio nuts shall be 161421ton so far (Sep. 1-Feb. 28) in 2016/2017 season, increasing 144.07% than the 66137ton in the previous year.

2. Inventory analysis of pistachios

The output of California pistachios in 2016/first producing season has reached 409663; the total supply shall be 456191ton in addition to the 46527inventory left by the previous year.

Except the sales volume so far, i.e. 161421ton, the salable inventory at present shall be 262788ton, including natural opening inventory of 10651ton, and closed inventory of 10651ton. In the next five months in the producing season, it is difficult to reduce high inventory to a reasonable level.
