In recent years, Australian nuts
become top demands of international market, especially almonds and macadamia
nuts.
National Australia Bank provides important professional
support to macadamia industry, penetrating links of nuts cultivation,
processing, domestic retail and e-commerce. The Trade and Financial Department
strives of NAB strives to help export document approval of nuts enterprises,
and help them open international market.
The report of NAB points out that today, 83% Australian
agricultural products are exported to Asian market. Except beef and dairy,
grains, mainly nuts, have an equally important market share.
The report predicts that Australia will become the
largest macadamia nut exporter in the world, and sales volume in fiscal year
2017 will reach AUD 760 million. China will become the largest quality nuts
importing market. With increase of global demands, macadamia nuts producers
will face larger opportunity in the future.
