A weekly report released by Buenos Aires Grains Exchange claimed that in the week as of April 20, 100% sunflower seeds in Argentina for the year 2016/17 have been harvested, higher than the 95.8% in the previous year.
　　The average per unit area yield of sunflower seeds is 2.03t/ha., 0.1t/ha. less than that in the previous year. The harvest area is 1.627million ha. The sunflower seed broadcasting area in this year reaches 1.7 million ha., 39.3% higher than the 1.22million ha. in the previous year.
　　The sunflower seed output in the year 2016/17 is 3.3mt, 32% higher than the 25mt in year 2015/16, and increasing 17% than the average output in past five years.
