According to Vietnam Cashew Association, the export volume of Vietnam cashew in 2017 may reach USD 3.3 billion, increasing USD 300 million on year-on-year basis.

By prediction, in 2017, output of Vietnam cashew will reach 360,000t, increasing 2.8% year on year; cashew export volume reached USD 3.3 billion, in which cashew nut export volume may reach USD 3 billion, and others are accessory products.

Representative of Vietnam Cashew Association disclosed that if the export target in 2017 is reached, Vietnam will keep the world largest cashew exporter for 12 consecutive years. In the first months in 2017, the nationwide cashew export volume reached 112,000t, and gained foreign exchange of USD 1.1 Billion; export amount dropped 9.5% year on year while export volume increased 12.8%. In 2016, the nationwide cashew export volume reached USD 3 Billion, accounting for 50% of global cashew trade volume.
