On June 15, 2017, Burkina Faso
released G/SPS/N/BFA/5 notification to issue Good
Manufacturing Practice for sesames, including selection of sesame type,
plantation, harvest, storage, packaging, transportation and production label.
Meanwhile Burkina Faso released G/SPS/N/BFA/3 notification to
issue food classification regulations. Main food types are fruits and fruit products,
grain and products, potatoes, vegetables, and beverage crops/ Specific
specification will be applicable to other quality safety standards released by
Burkina Faso. Final date for comment shall be 60
days after the notification is released.
