California Almonds Association released almonds delivery report for May last week. The delivery volume is 170 million pounds, lower 4.1% than the 178 million pounds in the same period last year.

The import demand of Germany in this month is strong, but demand of India and China is lower than the same period last year.

In the entire year (Aug. 1, 2016 –May 30, 2017), overall delivery volume of California almonds reached 1.769 billion pounds, increasing 18% than the 1.498 billion pounds in the same period last year.
