From January to July 2017, the raw sunflower seed oil output reached 3.18mt, 36% up than that in 2016; sunflower oil output reached 314,000t in July, dropping 30.4% quarter on quarter, State Statistics Bureau was quoted by Ukrainian Independent Information Agency as saying.

Ukraine is the largest sunflower seed oil exporter. Data of Ukraine Oil Plants Association said that Ukraine exported 4.8mt sunflower oil, which is the highest record, increasing 23% than 2015. The export volume is increased from USD4.2 billion in the previous year to USD4.8 billion.
