On Sept. 7, 2017, Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) released an announcement at local time that after
systematic review on existing scientific evidence, FDA plans to allow apply
foods of peanuts from four to ten months with “health claim” to infants suffering serious eczema and
egg allergy so as to reduce allergic risks of children under five. The “health claim” is attached with restricted language or
disclaimer so as to accurately deliver scientific evidence support claims. FDA
performs enforcement power for the use of “health claim”.
