As reported by US media, USDA Agricultural Marketing Service issued rules on Oct. 20 to release minimum quality and processing standards for domestic and import peanuts; the spoiled product rate of Segregation 1 is released from 2.49% to 3.49%, and standards of Segregation 2 are also loosed.

It is learned that the rules follow a recommendation of US Peanut Standard Committee.
