In recent years, Vietnam cashew export has ranked the first place of the world for years. Therefore, Department of Industry and Trade of Vietnam decides to list cashew nuts to national food brand directory in 2017 Food Expo to be held on Nov. 15 to boost developing Vietnam cashew brand, improving added value of cashew nuts, and further facilitating global export status. Cashew will become the ninth category of national brand food in Vietnam.
　  Currently, Vietnam has about 1000 cashew processing enterprises and 350 export enterprises. Totally 289,400t cashew nuts are exported in first ten months this year with export value of USD 2.868 Billion. The annual export value is expected to exceed USD 3.3 billion, accounting for 60% of world export market value.
