For the first ten months of this year, the cashew export quantity of Vietnam was 294,000 tons and the foreign exchange earning was USD2,98,000,000 with the year-on-year growth rate of 0.4% and 25.6% respectively.

The three largest export markets of Vietnam cashew were U.S.A., European Union and China. These three markets accounted for 35%, 25% and 15% of the total export amount of Vietnam cashew.

According to the export plan, the cashew industry will strive for achieving the following goal under the background of encountering lots of difficulties: The cashew export quantity reaches up to 330,000 tons and the foreign exchange earning reaches USD3,300,000,000. Of which, the cashew nut export amount reaches USD3,000,000,000. With this goal, the cashew export amount of Vietnam in 2017 will continue to account for 50% (about USD5,500,000,000) of the total global cashew export amount, keeping the position of the first largest cashew processing & export country in the world in the cashew industry for 12 years continuously.
