According to the local media
report in Amur Oblast of Russia,
the soybean yield in such region set a new record this year. The total soybean
yield in 2017 reached up to 1.3 million tons, which is 300 thousand tons more
than the record in 2015.
It
is reported that the soybean sowing area in such state has increased by more
than 20% in four years, which is related to the following two factors: The
improved soybean processing capacity drives the domestic consumption growth;
the volume of exports to China
of such crop is expanded.
The volume of Russian soybean exports to China
set a new record this year, increasing to 74,7 thousand tons compared to 15 thousand
tons in 2016. The volume of Russian soybean exports to China accounted
for 91% of the total export volume.
