Data from Government of Ukraine shows that, In October 2017 , Ukraine exported 2,500 tons of sunflower seeds, 30.5 per cent lower than the previous month ' s 3600 tons, a decrease of 88.5 per cent over the same period last year. Kyiv reported on Dec. 18

In the first two months of 2017 / 18 ( September and October ), the export volume of sunflower seeds was 6100 tons , a decrease of 75.6 per cent over the same period last year .

Turkey is Ukraine's second largest export market for sunflower seeds, Ukraine's sunflower seed exports to Turkey fell to 600 tonnes in the first two months of the year, the lowest level in four years, compared with 17,600 tonnes a year earlier.
