Nicolay, senator of Ukraine Rada (Parliament) introduced that the Verkhovna Rada postponed canceling export VAT refund for soybeans to Sept. 1, 2018 and for rape to Jan. 1, 2020. No VAT will be refunded for sunflower seeds export.

Nicolay reminded that on Dec. 7, with issuance of Amendment to Tax Law, representatives passed the controversial No. 180 Amendment, which canceled export VAT return for soybeans, rape and sunflower. Taras Vysotsky, President of Ukraine Agribusiness Association explained that No. 180 Amendment is beneficial for large processing companies for those products.
