Vietnam's agriculture strives to achieve a target of $40 billion 500 million in exports

He Gongjun, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry in Vietnam, said at the regular press conference of the Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry will continue to verify and improve its goals in 2018 based on the production and export achievements in the first two months of this year.

 

  Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture will strive to achieve industrial growth of 3.05% and export volume to 40 billion 500 million US dollars, reaching 39% of the number of new rural construction standards, and 41.65% of forest coverage.

 

  In order to achieve above goals, vice minister He Gongjun asked the aquaculture industry to strengthen the efforts of publicity, inspection and supervision so as not to allow illegal fishing to occur.Striving for April this year,The EU can cancel the yellow card on Vietnam to combat "illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing regulations" (IUU);Vietnam can cooperate with coastal and island countries to prevent illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and to engage in dialogue with the EU.

 

  In addition to the water industry, forestry also has to reach domestic and export related indicators of traceability of timber sources.
