The global food security conference 2018, sponsored by GFSI, officially opened in Tokyo on the 6th of this month. The conference mainly discusses the importance of cooperation between the government and enterprises, and the important topics and trends of food safety.

As a part of GFSI's strategy to strengthen cooperation between government and enterprises, on the same day, GFSI concluded global partnership with international financial company to improve the catering industry environment in developing countries and enhance understanding of food safety, environmental protection and social sustainable development.

On the same day, GFSI also entered into a partnership with Chile Food Quality and Safety Bureau to build more partnerships between government departments and enterprises, eliminate trade barriers and coordinate global food safety regulations.

GFSI is a non-profit international organization founded in 2000.The global food safety conference will continue until 8th of this month, totally attracting about 1200 food industry representatives from 52 countries and regions.
