According to the federal Bulletin of the United States, recently, the United
States Environmental Protection Agency issued regulations to revise the
Kasugamycin maximum residue limits in cherry and walnut.
The new
regulations come into force since March 6, 2018, and the relevant personnel
should submit their opinions before May 7, 2018.
The application
for this limit is proposed by the IR-4 project group on the basis of FFDCA.
The United States
Environmental Protection Agency made a risk assessment of Kasugamycin. They
assessed their toxicity, carcinogenicity, and effects on infants and children.
Finally, it was concluded that the use of the following limits was safe.
