On March 13, 2018, the Indian institute issued the first amendment to the Food Safety Standards, andit came into effect immediately. On the basis ofF. No. Stds/O&F/Notification (5)/FSSAI-2016 notice，it adds the terms of 2.2.7, giving the definition on the fatty acid composition, that is component of Vegetable oils in Food Standard Revised(food additives), of which fatty acids in vegetable oils shall be determined by liquid chromatography(Percentage of total fatty acids).
