Argentina has bought American soybeans totaling 240 thousand tons for two consecutive days, creating a historical record.The report pointed out that because drought climate led to the reduction of soybean production, Argentina's move is to buy soybeans from the United States to stabilize the local soybean market prices. The company that buys American soybeans is Vicentin, an Argentina enterprise, which operates two soybean crushing plants jointly with Glencore.It is expected that the company will purchase at least 400 thousand tons of American soybeans.
