In 2017, Uzbekistan only ranked the sixth among global fresh apricot exporters, and the export volume is reduced from 50,000t to 23,000t. Thus, Uzbekistan ranked behind Spain, Turkey, France, Italy and Grace. It is worth mentioning that Uzbekistan ranked the second in 2016 just next to Spain.

Although official statistical data shows the export volume of Kazakhstan is quite high, Russia takes the largest share of exported fresh apricot of Uzbekistan. Traders believe Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan only re-export the fruits of Uzbekistan to the Russian market.
