As the 25th largest exporter in the world, Turkey exports
multiple commodities and agricultural products to the world. The unique climate
creates outstanding plantation conditions. Fresh fruits, nuts and other grain
products become the core of its export market, driving the sustainable
development of Turkish economy in a more extensive field.
It is learned that Turkey exported fruits and nuts worth of USD27318 and totally
7.3 million kg hazel nuts to China.
In 2017, Turkey totally exported vegetable and nut products worth of USD 50170 to China
while in 2016 the export volume of such products was USD 27299. The large growth
shows the export products of turkey toward Chinese market has the potential of
continuous growth.
The hazel nuts produced and exported in Turkey rank top of the world. The yield is about 75% of global hazel yield and export volume accounts for 75% of global hazel output.
