Spiegel Online of Germany reported on Sept. 20 that according to documents of the European Commission, 52% soybeans in Europe are imported from the USA in 12 weeks from July to middle September, as double as the number in the same period of 2017 which is 25%. The USA becomes the largest soybean supplier of EU in a short time. It is significant for development of cross-Atlantic trades. For EU, this is an available advantage for next negotiation with the USA. In order to solve the trade dispute with America, Jean-Claude Juncke of the European Commission made commitments, including importing more soybeans from the USA, to Donald Trump on July 25.
