The sunflower seed output in the Black Sea is expected to create the highest record

JCI shows the sunflower seed output in the Black Sea area is over 60% of global outputs. Currently, the sunflower seeds in Black Sea Area have started harvesting. Although minor temperature deviation arose in the past month, the sunflower seed output in all countries will exceed that in the previous year. The rainfall is abundant in summer in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. In Ukraine and Russia, the output will be further improved due to sufficient precipitation and larger sowing area. 

UkrAgroConsult, an analyst institution, said that farmers of Bulgaria and Romania had started harvesting sunflower seeds in large scale from last week. In Moldova, the harvest will start next week. Sunflower seeds have started harvesting in Ukraine and Russia.
