The walnut output in California in 2018 is expected to reach the new high

made based on objective detection and investigation on California walnuts in
2018, which is lasted from Aug. 1 to Aug. 21, 2018.

improved size of walnut kernel and crop quality. The data of survey on 726
farms, with two sample trees in each farm, shows averagely every tree
bears 1176 walnut fruits, 3% higher than the mean value 1141 in 2017.
The data in aforesaid figure shows the variation trend of
walnut bearing acreage and bearing trees per acre in California. As of 2018,

mu), and about 75 walnut trees are planted averagely per acre.
