With
population of 38 million and per capita annual income of USD24,000, Poland is
known as the largest market in the East Europe, and meanwhile one of the
greatest trade partners of Vietnam. The bilateral trade volume in 2017 reached
USD 1billion, and the number in 2018 is expected to exceed USD1 billion.
The total import/export volume between Vietnam and Poland
from 2010 to 2017 is increasing with average growth of about 27%. The number in
2017 reached USD 775.74million, increasing 29.8% on
year-on-year basis. Vietnam exports textiles, clothing, iron and steel, coffee,
computer and parts to Poland while the import demands for textile, clothing,
rice, agricultural products and aquatic products are large. The import volume
of aquatic products is about USD2 billion every year.
