According
to foreign media reports on the 30th, UK’s
Brexit has
been dragging its feet for a long time, and the problem of food transport
between UK and Europe has become a major concern. At present, no one knows what
to do about the import and the export of UK food
and other trade after
Brexit. Certain food
suppliers pointed out
that if a hard Brexit occurs, they will not know what to do.
Approximately one-third of UK's food supply originates from the European Union, with a particular demand for fresh fruits and vegetables. At present, the UK government has no new policy on future inspection of goods at customs checkpoints, and has not provided importers and exporters with any trade agreement system with countries outside the European Union. The incident has even left many large global food suppliers stranded.
