On April 26, South
Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued a Notice 2019-31,
amending certain of the
contents of
Codex Alimentarius, the main contents of which are as follows:
The standards for iodine and cesium were
amended.
The maximum residue limits for 76
pesticides such as biguanide octylamine were newly set and amended.
The general test method for 4 pesticides such as quinoxaline has been newly set.
