On April 26, Japan released
a draft for the revision to
the Standards
for Food,
Additives, etc. It plans to
revise the maximum
residue limits for certain agricultural and veterinary drugs in food.
The main contents are as follows: The
maximum residue limits of pyraclostrobin, ethofenprox, fenpyroximate, hydroxyl
dibutyl fennel, flumequine, [mono-Bis (Trimethylammonium Methylene Chloride) ]
- alkyltoluene and MANDESTROBIN in food were amended.
The deadline for soliciting opinions is May 25, 2019.
