On June 6, Japans Ministry of Health, Welfare and Labor issued a Notice 0606 No. 2 on Raw Food and Drug Administration, amending part of the Rules for the Implementation of Food Sanitation Law and the Standards for Food and Additives to add 8 New additives such as argon as designated additives.

Main contents are concluded as follows: Argon, isobutylamine, isopropylamine, sec-butylamine, propylamine, hexylamine, pentylamine and 2-methylbutylamine were added as specified additives, and their specifications, standards and test methodologies were developed.
