The
state-of-the-art statistics released by Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development reveal that Vietnam’s vegetable and fruit exports have
reached USD 1.6 billion
since the beginning of 2019, an increase of 89% on a year-on-year basis.
At the
beginning of 2019, China was Vietnam’s largest export market for fruits and
vegetables, with exports exceeding USD 1 billion. However, in order to promote
normal trade imports, China has intensified the regulation of border trade
imports and put forward the requirements on traceability, import license,
quality inspection of exporting countries and export certificates.
