Statistical data provided by Vietnam MOIT in the first
half year of 2019 show the export volume of Vietnamese cashew nuts has exceeded
19000t, worth of nearly USD 1.5 billion; compared to the same period in 2018,
the export volume increases 12% but the value reduces 12%.
In terms of
market, in June 2019, the cashew nuts volume exported to the Chinese market
increased 144% than that in the same period last year, and the value increased
104% YoY. The export volume to China reached 6600t, with value of USD 51
million.
Cashew nuts are rich in Vietnams such as Vietnam E, K, B6 and other mineral substances such as Cu, Zn, Fe and Mg. Moreover, the cashew nuts could prevent from cancer, nourish skins and hairs, and protect bones. Therefore, the products are recognized and trusted highly by consumers.
