In accordance with statistical data of Agricultural Products Processing and Marketing Bureau of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Vietnam), the nationwide export volume of cashew nuts in Vietnam in August 2019 reached 47,000t with export sales of USD 322 million. The accumulated export volume and export amount in the first eight months this year respectively reached 287,000t and USD 2.1 billion; the export volume increased18.8% but export amount dropped 7.3%. The export price of each cashew nut per ton reached USD 7468, dropping 21.9% on year on year basis. At present, USA, China and the Netherlands are the top three export markets in the first 8 months of 2019, with market share of 32.7%, 15% and 9.6% respectively. The cashew nut export of Vietnam to China soared, with export volume and export amount growth of 53.2% and 31.1% respectively. The export volume to USA dropped 4% and export amount dropped 25.7% year on year.
