The weekly report on the crop progress released by the USDA on the Monday afternoon reveals that, as of December 1, 2019, the sunflower seed harvest progress in the four major U.S. Sunflower seed producing states (Colorado, Kansas and South and North Dakota) had reached 65%, up from 56% a week ago, but far lower than 81% in the same period last year and 94% in the same period in five (5) years.
