US Peanuts storage and processing in February

It is reported that the peanuts storage in the USA as of Feb. 29, 2020 reaches 4.16 billion lb, while the number in the same period of the previous year is 4.33 billion lb, including 3.42 billion lb actual storage in farms.

The farm-based storage of available shelled peanuts is about 714 million lb and storage of peanuts for baking is totally 27.1million lb.

Total storage of shelled peanuts is 537 million lb, in which, 510 million lb is edible and 26.6 million lb is for oil pressing. In terms of types, the edible peanuts contain 83 million lb Virginias and Valencias, 390 million lb Runners and 37.2 million lb Spanish.
