Artificial Meat Starts a Global Craze in Food

The share price of an artificial meat manufacturer in the USA, “Beyond Meat”, soared on the listing day in last May, making the emerging product, artificial meat, popular. Recently, KFC and Starbucks, US Chain Catering Giants, launched artificial meant menu in the Chinese market, and intended to start a craze for edible artificial meat in China.

Market research institutions said at present the US and Europe are the largest markets for artificial meat. Asia Pacific and South America have vast demand potential for artificial meat.

However, in the meantime, insiders were reserved about the prospect of artificial meat. From the angle of supply, the artificial meant is difficult to form competitive strength in a short time due to problems of large-scale insufficient capacities and imperfect industrial chain.
