China Has Become the Overseas Market with the Fastest Growth of Chile Walnuts

Due to rich return in recent years, walnut is one of the most important crops in Chile. Due to limited domestic consumption, about 98% of total walnut yield in Chile is released to overseas market. The walnut exporter associations and the government of Chile carried out a series of promotion activities to improve demands of overseas market for products, and spared no efforts in expanding emerging markets in China and India. In recent years, China, Britain and UAE became the area with the fastest growth.
