It is estimated that the cashew nut export in May 2020 reached 45000t, with value of USD 280million. Compared to that in April 2020, the export volume increased 1.2%; but the export value dropped 3.9%; compared to that in May 2019, the export volume increased 8.9%; but the export value dropped 7.7%.

In the first five months of 2020, the cashew nut export value reached USD1.24billion; but compared to the same period of 2019, the export volume increased 17.8% and export value increased 2.2%.

It is estimated that the average export price of cashew nuts in May 2020 is USD6,222/t, which is the minimum level in years, dropping 5% compared to that in April 2020 and 15.2% compared to that in May 2019.

The average export price of cashew nuts in the first five months of 2020 reached USD6,725/t, lowering 13.3% than the same period in 2019.
