On
June 26, MFDS released No.2020-55 Bulletin, and revised part of contents of
Codex. Main contents are as follows:
1. Six types of
aquatic products are added to acceptable raw materials list for food: Argis
lar, Buccinum kushiroensis, Buccinum osagawai, Solenocera Melantho,
Hippoglossus hippoglossus, and Sebastes mentella.
2. Food raw materials
list is revised: revise scientific name of six food raw materials, integrate
one repeated food raw material, clearly normalize application area of 5 food
raw materials, and revise name of 5 food raw materials.
3. Test methods for
GME are added.
4. Common test methods
are revised.
5. The application
standard of preservative in vegetable butter in Codex is revised according to
revision of Codex Committee on Food Additives.
