According to Import & Export Bureau of Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, the export price of Vietnamese cashew nuts is low in the first twenty days of June 2020.

Data of Customs Bureau shows the Vietnamese cashew nuts export in May 2020 reached 42,800t with export value of USD 263million, respectively lowering 3.7% and 9.6% on Quarter-on-Quarter basis; the export volume is increasing 3.6% while export value is lowering 13.3% on year-on-year basis. Generally, in the first five months of 2020, the cashew nut export volume reached 182,800t and export value reached USD1.23billion, increasing 16.9% and 1.3% respectively year on year.

Under the background of complicated COVID-19 epidemic conditions, the cashew nut demand may soar urgently by prediction. According to prediction of industrial experts, the selling price of cashew nuts may rise, and generate active influence on cashew nut export industry in Vietnam.
