In order to further strengthen overseas source management of China-targeted food exporters,  Bi Kexin, the Director General of Import and Export Food Safety Bureau, General Administration of Customs held video conference with Raul Sausado, Director General of AUPSA on July 24.

Both parties supervised implement main responsibilities of China-targeted food exporters in accordance with COVID-19 and Food Safety: Guideline for Food Safety Authorities, and improve food safety management system and carry out safety protection strictly in line with COVID-19 and Food Safety: Guideline for Food Businesses. Both parties agree on consensus to further strengthen COVID-19 information notification mechanism. Panama side promised to notify COVID-19 information of China-targeted food exporters to China, and suspended export of China-targeted food exporters suffering COVID-19 so as to guarantee safety of food exported to China.
