On July 27, Russian Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Bureau Kaliningrad Branch found fraud plant quarantine certificate attached to 10ton imported nuts from Brazil while checking imported goods at Baldisk Port.

Aforesaid plant quarantine certificate is confirmed fraud through verification with officials of Brazil National Plant Protection Organization, violating relevant regulations of Russian Federation about controlled product imported to Russia.

At present, the illegal nuts have been returned. Personnel involved in the case will undertake corresponding legal liabilities in accordance with the Administrative Law of the Russian Federation.
