According to the latest information from the Vietnamese Agriculture and Agricultural Development Ministry, in the first 9 months of 2020, the country exported 363000 tons accumulatively, with a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

In the first eight months of this year, the US, Holland and China are still the largest cashew import markets for Vietnam, accounting for 34%, 13.3% and 11.4% of the export market, respectively.

In the future, Vietnam's exports of cashews are expected to continue to increase, as major importers such as the United States, India, the European Union and China will increase imports of cashews in the final months of this year to serve the New Year holiday demand.

So far, Vinacas has set a full-year export target of 450,000 tonnes of cashews, or $3.2bn (51.65% of planned exports have been completed in the first half of this year).
