On November 13, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of Korea issued Notice No. 2020-109, amending some contents of the Food Additives Code, the main contents of which are concluded as follows:
1. Expand the range of diluents that may be used when producing spices in powder form.
2. Disinfectants such as utensils may be used for food cooking and selling utensils and food packaging utensils.
3. Modify the test methods of component specifications and two general test methods of 10 kinds of products such as the β-glucose.
4. Modify the English name of vitamin D2.
