According to the US Federal Gazette, on November 13, 2020, the US Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation No. 2020-23423, which revised the residue limit of metalaxyl-m in shelled almonds and tree nuts.
The US Environmental Protection Agency conducted a risk assessment on its toxicity, dietary exposure and its impact on infants and young children, and finally concluded that the following residue limits are safe. The Proposed Amendments Are Concluded as Follows:

As understood, this regulation will take effect on November 13, 2020, and the objection or hearing request shall be submitted prior to January 12, 2021.
