Vinacas Young People reported on November 24 that the head of Vinacaspointed out that Vinacas cashews industry continues to rank the first in the world in many fields.

In 2020, cashew enterprises in Vietnam exported approximately 450, 000t of cashews, with an export value of USD 3.2 billion, and continued to be largest cashew producing and processing place all over the world. In the meanwhile, the import of cashews reached 1.3 million tons, which is also country with the largest import of cashews all over the world.

Vinacas pointed out that cashews in Vietnam are now under pressure to cut prices. Cashews industry is increasingly dependent on the import of raw materials. Therefore, Vinacas believed that it is necessary to restructure the industry and make use of existing advantages to improve the value and profit.
