Russian Oil Council Plans to Propose Export Tariff for Soybeans

ZERNO reported that Maltsev the Executive Manager of Russian Oil Council said the council plans to propose improving soybean export tariff from zero to no less than 20% to Russian Economic Development Ministry recently. Earlier, the council suggested improving export tariff of sunflower seeds from 6.5% to 20%. According to data of Agricultural Analysis Center of Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the soybean price in Russia is on the rise. On Nov.18, the soybean price (VAT-included) of Russia is RUB33253 (equaling to USD441 approximately) per ton, rising RUB593 (equaling to USD7.86 approximately) in one week. On Nov.18, the bean pulp price reached RUB43313 (equaling to USD574 approximately) per ton, rising RUB173 (equaling to USD2.29 approximately) in one week; compared to early September, the price increased RUB7985 (equaling to USD105.88 approximately).
