Mishustin, Prime Minister of Russia said he signed the order to increase export tariff rate of sunflower seeds and rapeseeds to 30% from January 2021, but no lower than EUR165 per ton.

Data of Russian Ministry of Agriculture in November shows sunflower seeds export to China accounts for 20% of total export, while China-oriented rapeseed export increased 50% on year on year basis. Certain Russian media reported in September that China-oriented rapeseed oil export doubled in this year, and sunflower seeds oil increased 1.5 times in the year.
